If you're wondering if I have ran through that speed monitor, the answer is a resounding yes. Sporting the @aftershokz headphones today and really enjoyed them. Anybody else tried them out before?
Calling this the Pallof Hop due to the combination of the principles featured with the Pallof press and single leg hop. Drill targeting the ability to load in in a plyometric fashion through the CMC while maintaining control of an upright trunk, solid hips, and unwaivering knees. Try it out if your ready for a challenge. #strongrunnerchallenge . . First speed session on the new treadmill! I'll be honest, I used to hate the tread, but since becoming a Dad I definitely can see the practicality of being able to train while at home. Makes it easy to tinker with variables like speed and incline too. Went with the @landicefitness tread at @jaydicharry 's recommendation and it's been a good fit!
1/2 dumbbell deadlift for the strength challenge today. While mobility can be important, often times it can be over emphasized for runners. Start with the mobility that you need for the demands of the sport you are competing in and get strong within that context. . . .
